The services I provide as a doula are customized and vary per family, but here is a list of some of the basics:
- Initial Interview
- I will come to your home and teach a breif childbirth class which will be customized to your personal birth prefrences
- I will provide you with an in depth birth prefrences paper to fill out and then will help you to create a hospital-friendly birth "plan"
- I am available by phone 24 hours a day for emotional support
- I offer the option of accompanying you to one doctor or midwife visit during your pregnancy
- I will provide you with a list of community resources if you want
- I can teach a breastfeeding class at your home in addition to the childbirth class
- I will provide emotional and physical support to you during your entire labor and use natural techniques to support you including:
- massage
- rebozo or birth blanket
- positioning techniques to reduce pain
- aromatherapy
- accupressure
- water therapy
- visualizations
- possitive affirmations
- and many more!
I will provide free labor support to first time teen mothers as well as women in other situations that cannot afford a doula these services are provided on a case by case basis
Prices:
On average a birth will be priced between $300.00 - $650.00 this price includes all of the services listed above as well as other customized support. All clients recieve lactation support for the duration of their breastfeeding expirience for no extra charge!

Additional Post-Partum labor doula fees are 12.00 per hour which includes lactation counseling at no extra charge
